Creating the possibility of cooperation between hospitals in Miskolc (HU) and Kráľovský Chlmec (SK) in the field of e-radiology

MAIN GOAL: Support for cross-border cooperation between public authorities and people living in the border area.

The implementation of the project contributed to better use of human resources and technical equipment, more efficient operation and to the development of networking in the field of science and education. The result of the project is the ability of the Hungarian and Slovak partners to apply the methods of teleradiology and teleconsultation systems.

The implementation of the project provided the hardware and software needed to implement PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). PACS is a technology that enables the management, archiving, display, and sharing of image documentation such as X-ray, magnetic resonance, and CT images.

The joint implementation of the project enabled the partner hospitals to share knowledge, which led to better access to quality healthcare.
